Our organization structure is composed of the board of directors at top, followed by senior management team and operational project managers as shown below.

Board Of Directors

The board of directors is the highest governing body responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing organizational performance, and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Terms of reference for board members

  1. Strategic Planning: Participate actively in the development and review of FWPPS's strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and objectives.
  2. Policy Development: Contribute expertise and insights to the formulation of organizational policies and procedures, with a focus on enhancing RMNCAH services, radication and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases respectively, promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as ambassadors for FWPPS, fostering relationships with donors, governmental agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders to advance organization shared goals.
  4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Review and assess organizational performance against key performance indicators, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  5. Advocacy and Resource Mobilization: Advocate for initiatives that support RMNCAH services, NCDs and CDs in Tanzania, and actively participate in fundraising and resource mobilization efforts to sustain FWPPS's programs and activities.

The Senior Management Team

The senior management team is composed of six administrative staff whose responsibility is to undertake all the administrative functions in close collaboration with the board of directors.

  1. Director of Programs: Oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs within FWPPS, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives..
  2. Chief Program Manager: Leads the project management team and provides strategic direction for project design, implementation, and monitoring to achieve desired project outcomes.
  3. Financial Resource Manager: Manages financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and reporting processes, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with donor requirements.
  4. Director of Strategic Information: Oversees data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to inform decision-making, program planning, and performance evaluation.
  5. Human Resource Manager: Manages HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development initiatives, to support a skilled and motivated workforce
  6. Grants and Compliance Manager: Manages grant funding opportunities, ensures compliance with donor regulations and reporting requirements, and oversees internal control mechanisms.

General Terms of Reference for Senior Management Team

  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance in alignment with FWPPS's mission, vision, and objectives, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project management team and relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated and integrated program implementation.
  3. Resource Management: Effectively manage financial, human, and material resources to optimize program outcomes and organizational sustainability.
  4. Performance Management: Set clear performance targets, monitor progress, and evaluate program effectiveness, using data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and best practices.
  6. Staff Development: Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff, and promote a culture of learning and growth.
  7. Representation and Advocacy: Represent FWPPS at various forums, conferences, and meetings, advocating for policies and initiatives that advance RMNCAH services and gender equality.

The Project Management Team

The project management team is composed of five operational managers whose responsibility is to ensure implementation of specific activities as per project plans and monitor progress based on established project indicators in close collaboration with the senior management team. Here are the project management team

  1. SGBV Program Manager: Leads the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence projects, overseeing its implementation, monitoring progress, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to survivors.
  2. Maternal & Newborn Health Project Manager: Leads the Maternal & Newborn Health projects, focusing on improving health outcomes for pregnant women and newborns through targeted interventions and services.
  3. Child & Adolescent Health Project Manager: Leads the Child & Adolescent Health projects, working to enhance health services and promote healthy behaviors among children and adolescents.
  4. FP & Reproductive Health Project Manager: Leads the Family Planning & Reproductive Health projects, ensuring access to a wide range of FP services and promoting reproductive health rights and services.
  5. Training & Research Project Manager: Leads the Training & Research projects, overseeing capacity-building initiatives and research activities aimed at generating evidence and informing programmatic interventions.

General Terms of Reference for Project Management Team:

  1. Project Planning and Implementation: Develop detailed project plans, coordinate implementation activities, and monitor progress to achieve project objectives within defined timelines and budgetary constraints.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and beneficiaries, to ensure the effective delivery of project interventions and foster partnerships for sustainability.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to track project performance, collect relevant data, and assess the impact of interventions, using findings to inform decision-making and adaptation.
  4. Capacity Building: Identify training needs, develop capacity-building initiatives, and provide technical support to project staff and partners to enhance their skills and competencies in delivering project activities.
  5. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, technical briefs, and other documentation to communicate project achievements, challenges, and lessons learned to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of project activities and outputs through adherence to established standards, protocols, and best practices.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them, ensuring the smooth implementation and continuity of project activities in line with organizational goals and donor requirements.
